20 Hours on Khan Academy SAT Practice Could Mean 115 points Improvement

美国大学理事会(College Board) 最近调整了SAT的考试时间，从2017年开始，8月增加一次SAT考试，以取代原有的1月考试。因此2017年1月21日将是最后一次1月进行的SAT考试，2018年开始1月将不再有SAT考试。原有的1月考试，对很多考生而言是最不受欢迎的考试日期— 因为对于当年的申请为时略晚，对来年的申请又有些过早，考生准备不充分。同时，每年SAT在6月考试之后就是10月，间隔时间太长，导致大量考生参加10月考试，给组织考试和阅卷带来了很大的压力，也给考生合理安排SAT1和SAT2考试带来了压力。调整之后的考试，将更方便考生做出合理的考试规划，尤其是SAT1和SAT2的规划安排。下表为2017-2018 SAT考试日期: 這是自1970年代以來針對考試日期首次改革，對學生來說利大於弊! 首先，學生可以充分利用暑假! 少了在學期中的課業壓力，這時可以更專注於考前準備，暑假結束參加8月的考試正好是對這段準備過程的驗收；另外，對要準備以early decision 或是early action方式申請大學的學生來說，參加8月份的考試可以盡早得知考試成績，如果不滿意還能有充分時間補救— 再考10月或甚至11月的SAT考試，因此對想提早申請的學生而言，8月份的考試必須要好好把握! 更多考試相關資訊，請聯繫名門教育: https://site.ivyboost.com/
